Frequently Asked Questions
During our busy season(March-November) it's best to email first, otherwise text, call, and/or reach out at our Social Media. We'll schedule an appointment to meet and view/discuss your project. Afterwards a bid will be sent to you via email & will look like this. A signed contract and/or email acknowledging you accept our contract terms is required to get on our schedule. A rough starting date is always provided in our bid. Upfront payments are NEVER required!
Unlike most concrete contractors we do not require a payment upfront. Our payment schedule will be outlined in the provided contract, which we'll email to you. Whomever you choose for your concrete work, please ensure they provide you with a written contract! Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for us to get a call where the homeowner paid the contractor upfront - only for the project to be left unfinished. Please do your homework & hire a well-known contractor!
Our services include the more basic concrete construction - like driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, porches, floors, walls, footers & more. As well as , decorative concrete - like stamped concrete, exposed aggregate, colored or stained concrete, etched & engraved concrete, & much more. We don't offer concrete "lifting" or "leveling"!!! If your concrete needs such - it's almost always best to remove the concrete, fix the underlying problem & replace with new concrete.
During the warmer months you can expect us to be booked out roughly 60-90 plus days. During the cooler months expect 30-60 days. Yes, concrete can be poured in cold temperatures! Doing so may require some additional adjustments on our end. That said, colder weather concrete can be cheaper, better looking, and may even be stronger. A starting date will be provided on the contract we'll send via email or snail mail.
Gentrup Concrete LLC is a small, family owned business based in the Bellevue / Newport area. Expect personal service directly with the business owner, myself, Chris Gentrup. I'll be the one to compose & send your bid. I'll be on-site for most of, if not all of your project. I'll be the gentleman going over your projects details every night - ensuring it turns out prefect. Throughout this process, I'll be easily available to communicate with - via text,email, phone or in person.
