Exposed aggregate concrete differs from other decorative concrete options. It is designed to replicate a gravel appearance. The main concrete is finished and stripped of the top layer of cement to reveal the gravel aggregate underneath. A color tinted sealer is then applied, in this case a brown-tone, to give the look of brown gravel. The borders were stamped to resemble cobblestone. This large 10,000 square foot driveway was completed in Indian Hill, Ohio, in early 2020. View more photos of this project in the carousel below.

Decorative Concrete Steps, Borders and Ribbons can be added to any style concrete, whether it's normal or decorative concrete. For example, the inset of concrete can be a normal broom finish, an exposed aggregate finish, or one of the many stamped patterns. The borders and/or ribbons can also be any of the previously mentioned styles. You can change colors between the borders/ribbons and inset. There are 100's of different options. The above image shows split-face limestone steps. The images below show borders & ribbons with different insets, decorative edges and steps . But again, the options are nearly endless.
If you can dream it, we can make it reality!
